Bagless Henry?
19 Jul
If you’re looking for a bagless Henry, there is bad news and there is good news here.
First, as always, the bad news: There is no bagless Henry.
Second, and more importantly, the good news: It doesn’t matter! Henry doesn’t lose suction (as you’ll know if you speak to many of the cleaners who use him 7 or 8 hours a day!). And Henry’s dust bag is twice the size of those found in many machines.
We had a scout round the web to find a few reviews from people who compared Henry to bagless vacuum cleaners. Let us know what you think in the comments at the end of this page!

I had a Dyson for 5 years because I bought into the bagless/no loss of suction idea. Became fed up of replacing motors everytime I tried to suck up a little DIY dust and the wailing banshee noise.
The Henry is a revelation. It tackles everything at throw at it without a murmur, the bag takes ages to fill (and genuine replacements are cheap anyway), there is no loss of suction after two months on the same bag and it is so quiet and easy to use compared to the Dyson.
It costs half the price of a Dyson too! Don’t pay too much attention to the Which report, they marked it down on cleaning pet hair from carpets – make sure you get a Henry with a turbo brush that will fix that!

This is the best Vacuum cleaner I have ever used. I have used new bagless cleaners that have not kept their suction for long and have broken under the constant use in my house and are messy to empty. I have a labrador who malts alot and 4 messy kids and the Henry copes with it all.
The Henry has fantastic suction and a fantastic length hose that reaches all the way down the stairs with no problem. It also comes with other tools to do stairs, cars etc. Also it has the engery saving button that you can use to power up Henry even more. Its great on wood floors as well as all styles of carpet. Its just a brilliant hoover. All that and a smile on his face.

I have had many different types of vacuum cleaner in my time from Dyson to Hoover, bagged to bagless and I have to say that I have had my Henry for two weeks and it is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever had. The suction on it is unbelievable, my floors have never been so clean. I have got real wood floorboards and it gets right into the crevices. Another reviewer said there was a problem with it on carpet but I have found no problem whatsoever.
Admittedly it is a fairly flat carpet but it cleans it up lovely. The only drawback to it is that it doesn’t have anywhere to store your tools on the machine so you do have to carry them with you wherever you go. The cord length on it is brilliant, I can do my whole downstairs without having to unplug it once. I would really recommend these cleaners to anyone who has had enough of all the new fangled machines they keep bringing out and just wants to go back to basics and get a really good cleaner in the process. Brilliant.
So there you have it. The summary of the reviews: bagless is not better!
